A musician since childhood, he plays piano, guitar, and saxophone, and has been actively engaged in improvisation for over a decade through training, competition, and performance. As a member of LICUQAM, a league recognized for its high artistic standards, he continues to refine a practice that balances discipline with creative flexibility.
On stage, Jacob has collaborated with directors such as Olivier Kemeid (Les Grandes Familles / Five Kings) and Michel-Maxime Legault (Jeux de massacre by Ionesco). He also develops personal and collaborative projects, notably in object theatre and devised performance.
Driven by a desire to translate his improvisational skills to screen work, Jacob stands out for his adaptability, strong sense of rhythm, and artistic versatility, making him a compelling performer across a wide range of creative contexts.
